yes, because ubiquity is installed. you can safely remove it on your installed version:
$ sudo apt-get --purge remove ubiquity.*
--

After installation I think there are useless packages:
ubiquity (ubuntu installer used on live cd!)
many language*
many help files (ex. gimp was removed but gimp-help remains)
