[Bug 316651] Re: Missing /sys/devices/platform/eeepc/wlan prevents wlan from being disabled via hotkey
the array.org - kernel and the eeepc_laptop - module is using RFKILL for its wlan handling.
check in /sys/class/rfkill/rfkill0/state
however, it is broken due to a few things.
See the post here: http://www.ubuntu-
eee.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=467
you should see fn+f2 working if called from tty1-tty6, but be prepared
to catch a kernel panic.
Being tagged as invalid due to the specific nature of the bug report. It
is still being addressed.

Bug description:
On my eeepc 1000, /sys/devices/platform/eeepc/wlan is missing, and (presumably because of this) the wifi toggle hotkey doesn't work. I am using the array.org Intrepid kernel 2.6.27-8-eeepc.
