Re: [Question #58048]: No idea how to install.

Question #58048 on Easy Peasy changed:
https://answers.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu-eee/+question/58048

    Status: Open => Needs information

Philipp Wolfer requested for more information:
Normally the installation consists of the following steps:

1. Download Easy Peasy / Ubuntu Eee image
2. Move the image to a USB stick
3. Boot your Eee PC from that USB stick
4. Follow the installation instructions

This is summarized shortly on http://www.ubuntu-
eee.com/wiki/index.php5?title=Get_Easy_Peasy, I will try to explain this
in a little bit more detail.

1. Download the ISO image from the link above and save it somewhere on your hard drive
2. Download the Unetbootin Utility for Windows or Linux (whatever you use on your regular PC) from the link above. This utility allows you to put the ISO image on an empty USB stick
3. Now you need an empty USB stick, which you should attach to your PC. Now start the Unetbootin utility you downloaded previously and use it to move the ISO image to the USB stick. This should be more or less self-explanatory
4. Attach the USB stick to your Eee PC and turn it on. If everything went right it should boot from the stick. Now just follow the installation instructions.
