So please also follow this procedure:
Step 1: Open Terminal from "Applications->Accessories->
Terminal"
Step 2: Run the following command in the Terminal
sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base
Step 3: Add following line to the end of the alsa-base file:
options snd-hda-intel position_fix=1 model=3stack-6ch-dig
Step 4: Reboot and retest
