[Bug 182489] Re: Atheros wireless (AR5007) not working on ASUS Eee PC
For all who have this wireless card, there is a new Hardware Access
Layer in development that has AR5007 support. It has been tested and
proven successful on numerous 64-bit systems. Go to
http://madwifi.org/ticket/1679 and read the comments at the bottom which
give install instructions and links to download.
ENJOY!!!!

The Eee PC has non-working wireless out of the box. A patch is available from the madwifi website:

I'd like to have working wireless in hardy, without having to patch/compile manually :)
