[Bug 254965] Re: Intrepid alpha 3 red screen
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 243682 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/243682
Sorry Saivann--you can also look at my
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/usplash/+bug/235662 which has
part of the problem as the upper half of the screen is red/white & the
lower half green/black. I still get these anytime I remove "nosplash"
from the kernel line--so this bug & bug# 260709 exist as duplicates of
my original bugreport. I still wait for a resolve to this
problem.........
I have changed my hardware (new motherboard) after the report--problem
still remains--I am waiting for the Beta release to reinstall to see if
anything has changed.
I am beginning to suspect that the problem is with wide-screen monitors.
I have a Hanns-G 28" with a native resolution of 1920x1200.
