Regarding CUFE Bio. session

About CUFE Bio Dep. event, It was given today by a friend of mine, his name
is Karim Atef, he's a CUFE Bio. graduate and he participates in our events
when possible. I was there for assistance. The number of attendees was
around 25. The content was "Introduction to FLOSS" and "The basic usage of
Ubuntu GUI and CLI".

The Session was requested by a teacher assistant by the name oh Ahmed Hady.

He is doing a great effort in CUFE.

He's invites students to use FLOSS as much as possible, and he gives his
courses as well as the projects he supervises using FLOSS tools on ubuntu
and asks the student to use them. He also had Karim and a few other
students install Ubuntu on the machines of at least one computer lab.

Todays session was a section for Bio. Dep. second year students. He also
brought 4 of the older students to talk about their experience with Ubuntu
and how did it benifit them.

We also told the students about the FB group and the Simply Ubuntu book.

He's simply breeding ubuntu fans in large numbers We must make the best out
of this. The Ubuntu-eg Cairo branch is ready made for us.

BTW, Ahmed Hady also organized a previous event for Bio student that was
given by me and Mahmoud Fawzy and assisted by Karim Atef about Ubuntu
installation and usage and web development on LAMP
