Ubuntu for Android on the Transformer Prime
Hi All,
I am in the process of buying a Transformer Prime TF201 for replacing my
current Toshiba laptop for daily use.
This is the ideal machine for Ubuntu for Android since it has a proper
keyboard dock. When the tablet is detached, you use Android, when it gets
docked, you switch to Ubuntu.
The chrooted Ubuntu would be far less appealing than Ubuntu for Android.
Also, a dual-boot Ubuntu would not be a real solution, since it has only
very rudimentary touch support so you couldn't use it exclusively.
Continually, booting between Ubuntu and Android would kill the experience
as well.
Does anyone know about anything whether ASUS or Canonical is planning
official "Ubuntu for Android" for this device?
