Udi,
  Are you using gnome3-staging PPA?

Probably best to file a bug anyway.

Check /var/log/Xorg.0.log and see if that is correctly detecting your display, if it isnst file against xorg-xserver.

Hi Udi,
  1-5 all sound like the probably the same bug. What graphics driver are you using?
