Hi,

I have been running 14.04 in VirtualBox as; xubuntu, ubuntu gnome,vanilla ubuntu, and ubuntu with the gnome shell.

All versions have been quite stable so, I loaded Ubuntu on my dual bootThinkpad T60 and then installed the gnome shell. For what it's worth,the last time I ran ubuntu gnome on my thinkpad was with 12.04, it wasvery sluggish so I installed 12.04 Xubuntu. With 14.04 the performanceis much better on the Thinkpad (3G memory).

On the Thinkpad, I then installed a large number of applications --including the webupd8team ppa for nemo. The only problem I have seenso far was a crash of the Unity-greeter (Apport generated). Other thanthat the system(s) have been very stable with really nothing to complainabout.
