Is this on gnome-shell 3.10?On the issue of bugs, when we see something that differs from stock gnome that we would like back, some projects have these filed as bugs. How should this be handled in Ubuntu Gnome?
I am specifically thinking about how the network icon is missing in Trusty as compared to my Arch install. I find it very disruptive to click on the top right corner, select settings and then network to get to network settings. I assume this is a feature request and not actually a bug?
What network connections do you have?

It is not uncommon for developers to request the Bug reporter to file the Bug upstream where relevant, obviously the actual reporter can usually provide more info, testing etc.

It took me nearly four hours to figure out how to create a gnome/bugzilla account and file my first bug so maybe we need to improve the documentation regarding that process.

Hi Lance,
Bugzilla? AFAIK, we at Ubuntu GNOME are only using Launchpad for reporting bugs :)
That said upstream bugs should really only be submitted once an Ubuntu Developer has requested it.
