I know this is an old email (3 weeks or so) but I was doing my usual inbox clean up and I found out that there is no mention to:

This Page will tell you whether any flavor is participating or not :)

You can check that 'before' the milestone date.

Also, you can check, maybe 'after' the release of a milestone whether a specific flavors have participated or not.

Go to "Trusty"

You will find Alpha 1:
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-gnome/releases/trusty/

That will tell you right away everything you want to know about this topic :)

If a flavor is not participating then:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/TrustyTahr/Alpha1 - you will see "no" and

For example:

http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/lubuntu/releases/

Has no release for Trusty and hence there is no Alpa1

I always bookmark these pages for faster access.
