Sorry for the top posting but I keep forgetting to set Thunderbird up on this device :^(

I do see two bugs just got fixed:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1260473

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1260396

But I think if we rebuild now we also need to delay release until Friday rather than Thursday.

I've been testing since Hardy and I can assure you that what should happen with "proposed" updates on a rebuild is not always what happens in real life ;^)

I just think it would be a real tough push to properly test a rebuild before our Alpha 2 tomorrow.

PS: I'm also testing Edubuntu images so my load is quite heavy.

Can we just stick with the 20140121.1 images?

I think they look good other than some ubiquity problems that are beyond our control :^)
A Couple of the ubiquity issues are being fixed, not sure if they will land in time though.

I see some major negative "hits" coming in the proposed repos that may cause major breakage if we rebuild tomorrow.

Or I could be full of baloney, but it looks like 'ubuntu-gnome-desktop' wants to be removed if applying proposed updates which I suspect would pour into a 20140122 build???
trusty-proposed is not for human consumption and proposed packages absolutely don't end up on the images.

I'm just trying to apply "keep-it-simple" here :^)

Hey all,
Not sure what happened to Ali, however Alpha 2 images are now live.

Testing should have started days ago, So these need particularly urgent testing. Hopefully I wake up in the morning to an inbox full of
successful test reports/bug reports tomorrow, otherwise we may have to cancel alpha 2 release.

Tim
