Re: [Ubuntugnome-qa] I'm sorry

Hi,

I have found one that I don't know how to debug:

"Cryptsetup: sda5_crypt set up successfully" after entering the password, then I get on this screen with the logo "System program problem detected" with the choise "cancel" or "Report problem". Whatever my choice is nothing happens. The desktop never starts.

The desktop doesn't start if I use advanced options.

The only way I can debug it is through the command prompt and put the files onto a USB-stick, and then upload the produced files manually from another computer.

Which commands to issue and which files to copy to the other disk? Help needed!

Best regards,
Patrik

Hi,

I'm sorry for being silent but I swear I had a very bad headache, in fact it is a migraine (any sound and/or light makes me worse) and I couldn't do anything .. I had it from yesterday 4pm but I refused to go to bed and tried to do some tests and bugs for Ubuntu GNOME but I couldn't really carry on so had to be in bed ... just now I managed to leave the bed and after more than 12 hours, I still feel bad but must finish the preparation for Beta 1. I have NO idea why every time there is a milestone, something happens to me? it is driving me crazy.

If anyone of you have found any critical bug for : 20140226 please do let me know.

I didn't prepare yet the Release Notes ... will wash my face and get it ready, I just woke up.

Sorry again but this is something really out of my control :(

Will let you know once the Release Notes are ready and please let me know if there is any nasty bugs.

As per my personal tests, both i386 and amd64 were fine and yes, I did test the latest image yesterday. But I wasn't good enough to go deeper.
