Re: [Ubuntugnome-qa] *One More* Day to go!

Yes this bug i can confirm. However i experience this in all ubuntus back to 12.04. I believe when i looked into it, it had to do with googles reimplementation of the mtp stack in later versions of andriod. A quick google will find others on other distros suffering the same problem. For myself i get around this via samba and ES FileExplorer.

I havent found a permanent fix yet

Hi All,

I am having issues with gvfs and mtp .When I connect my Android to the PC It gets mounted automatically and i can browse the files with Nautilus. However I cannot open / copy  files which are in my android to my PC . I can open only small files such as images. Has anyone else experienced this issue as I am not familiar with MTP support in Ubuntu

Hey there! I noticed some issues with "System Settings" -> "User
Accounts" and "Unlock". I decided to use my password to login - so I
changed the settings in that way.
But on the next reboot, the system booted directly into Gnome Shell.
On the second try it booted to GDM.

There were no other errors.

With best regards,
