Re: [Ubuntugnome-qa] BUG: Accessibility Zoom hangs system on 14.04 LTS x64

I can confirm the same bug. By the way, to toggle it press Alt + Super + 8 (when I restarted my ultrabook the session started with the zoom turned on).

Cheers,
Alfredo

I did a search on your site for reporting bugs and nothing came up so here goes:

Description:

Accessibility zoom hangs system requiring hard reset.

Steps to replicate:

Install a fresh instance of Ubuntu Gnome 14.04 LTS x64.  Turn on Accessibility Zoom.  Move mouse and attempt to click on ANYTHING. The system will freeze solid, requiring a hard reset.

Hardware:

Two instances:

HP Elite 8100 w/I5 Dual Core and 8Gb / onboard Intel graphics

Gigabyte GA-Ma785 series motherboard with AMD 6000+ Dual Core and 4Gb / onboard AMD HD4200 graphics

Clearly the zoom function was never tested.
