I'm waiting for a respin with ubiquity 2.21.23 to fix this bug:

I'm particularly curious about the lightdm bit since we use gdm:
"Stop running ubiquity.service as an oneshot service, as this blocks
the initial boot transaction (including ureadahead etc.). Instead,
manually start lightdm in the cases where we don't want ubiquity-dm."
Although lightdm is mentioned here the fix would actually be
display-manager agnostic. Also note in the "Install" case,
ubiquity-dm is used as
the display manager (not lightdm/gdm).
Thanks Tim. I did encounter the problem mentioned here:
"ubiquity (2.21.24) vivid; urgency=medium
* Revert ubiquity.service changes (r6294) from previous upload. It's
not
necessary to fix proper shutdown, and broke the "Try Ubuntu"
button in
ubiquity-dm.

So we need to respin again, Ubuntu already has.
Thanks again,
