It is now ubuntu-gnome-qa@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Thanks Tim. I guess I missed that change. Have all other members of the QA Team been notified?

I see Sebastien Bacher replied to that bug report so many thanks (assuming you shared the info).

Hi Tim. We seem to have a broken QA mailing list. Not sure about the new dev list either.

As the title indicates some CD and DVD discs fail to automount properly
in 16.04. This affects all flavors AFAIK. I have not been able to
reproduce this bug personally but there have been multiple reports on
the forums:

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2325044

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2323708

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2323524

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2323204

It does not affect all discs but one of the posters made a partial list
here:

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2323204&page=2&p=13487541#post13487541

Others have indicated that only audio discs are affected but I'm unsure
of that. It has been mentioned that blank discs are recognized by
Brasero but after burning they aren't recognized.

The Launchpad bug report is here:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gvfs/+bug/1577768

Possible duplicate (not at all sure of that though):

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1537918

Upstream bug report:

https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=766136

Red Hat bug report:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1234317

Workaround from the French forums (since I don't read French I don't
totally understand):

https://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?pid=21515215#p21515215

At least one of those affected is quite involved and I think would be
willing to test potential fixes:

https://launchpad.net/~webdesignbrian

And obviously another was willing to report upstream. Can someone else
possibly jump in and help?

Thanks in advance,

Lance
