Thanks Tim. I rather love nitpicks ;^)

I checked with the final live DVD and you're correct about being able to logout and then select classic (no effects). That hadn't been possible with the beta and I hadn't rechecked. (Maybe a gdm thing?)

I also changed my explanation of Mutter so it's hopefully more appropriate, please do let me know what you think.

PS: I know some folks don't like my "top-posting" rather than appropriately cutting each section of a message and then responding to only that specific part, but I suffer from a few limitations due to an old brain injury. I'm not seeking sympathy but please cut me a little slack when it comes to communicating here on the mailing list.

Just thought I'd mention that since it caused quite a bru-ha-ha at lubuntu-users some time ago.

    Mostly looks good!

    

    Gnome classic (without effects) does work in the live session, but
    you have to logout from gnome-shell and then log back in to get at
    it.

    

    another minor nitpick, there is no metacity in relation to
    gnome-shell, mutter or clutter. Only gnome-classic uses metacity.

    

    As a bonus, I have a fix for the gmail issue listed in known issues,
    its sitting in the upload queue right now and should land in
    quantal-proposed shortly.
