Version 5.9.7 r383 doesn't have this issue in Ubuntu 10.04

Status in “wsjt” package in Ubuntu: New

Bug description:
Binary package hint: software-center

due to being a new user I downloaded unbuntu the sole purpose of using wsjt( Amateur radio weak signal communications )after installing from the snaptic package manager  after going to applications other ,I click on wsjt the terminal box appears briefly then the wsjt console starts but briefly and turns off,like I say Iam new been with windows too long,tried linux before but did not have tha patience to stick with it ,but that is going to change ( ps do you have a list of commands recommend for the raw newbie I can check out
