Couldn't tell you as I've been using Mint 8 Helena
on this netbook for a long time, so am in no
position to comment on Lucid anymore.

all sstv modes are completely wrong in Jaunty
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/380021
You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu
ham developers, which is subscribed to qsstv in ubuntu.
Status in “qsstv” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete
Bug description:
Package refers to qsstv 5.3c-8
The following fault has been reported by a few radio amateur users
around the world and my experience is exactly the same as theirs.
I run Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope on an Acer Aspire One Netbook A110
Standard transmitted picture tone sequences for all the sstv modes
are completely wrong to normal.
Similarly when receiving a correctly set up transmission, the
picture never properly develops, as it is completely out of step
at the wrong speed and synchronisation to the source.
