[Bug 706452] Re: Update from local files won't work with files in UPPER case
I can confirm that this is indeed the case, though only the suffix (.tle
or .txt) has to be lower case. It is easy to correct and we will fix it
upstream.
** Changed in: gpredict (Ubuntu)

Title:
Update from local files won't work with files in UPPER case
Status in “gpredict” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Binary package hint: gpredict
When updating the TLE offline (aka from local files) the software
won't see any file with UPPER CASE letters.
Try it...
Download a TLE update (say from: http://www.tle.info/data/TLE.ZIP) an
unzip it in a empty folder (the resultant file is named TLE.TXT) try
to update from this folder...
Result: the gpredict software has no update, as if the folder was
empy, so it won't see files in upper case, next try to rename the file
with lower case an push an local update, this time the update is ok.
This is not a major bug but a detail.
