Title:
  Failure to flush buffer completely.

Status in “multimon” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: multimon

  Included is a patch for fixes and features.
    * Fix for stereo only systems
    * Fix to completely flush the buffer on verbprint
    * Added option to quiet output messages
    * Added example dtmf_insert.pl script
    * Updated man page to reflect changes
  The man page for multimon includes a link to a PDF that includes a patch for flushing the buffer and adds the option to quiet output messages.
  Also found a modified source to allow stereo operation (for systems that refuse to allow /dev/dsp to be mono) from http://www.koders.com/c/fidF71CD108B1C5EA2F2F3589D4FD710147322D5E12.aspx?s=crc
  I am not the author of any of these patches, I just merged them together for my setup and thought I'd share them back with the community.
