[Bug 2115202] [NEW] Duplicate desktop id
Public bug reported:
AppStream metadata for the Gpredict package are not generated because of
a duplicate app id:
https://appstream.ubuntu.com/questing/universe/issues/gpredict.html
metainfo-duplicate-id
The component-id 'gpredict.desktop' already appeared in package 'gpredict-doc'. AppStream-IDs must be unique, please resolve which package will be providing this component by default.
This issue may happen temporarily when metadata is moved from one package to another. In that case, ignore this issue, it will vanish soon.
This is however not true and there is no desktop file in the gpredict-
doc package:
https://packages.ubuntu.com/questing/all/gpredict-doc/filelist
Everything is correct in Debian:
https://appstream.debian.org/sid/main/metainfo/gpredict.html
** Affects: gpredict (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
