Hi Ubuntu-hams-

The hamlib team has released a new version 1.2.11 of the 'hamlib' rig
control library [1].  Hamlib is used by most applications that support
rig control [2].  Our thanks to the upstream hamlib developers for all
their work and this fine software.

Installable hamlib 1.2.11 packages for Ubuntu Maverick, Lucid, and
Karmic are now available in the ubuntu-hams package archive:
https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-hams/+archive/ppa

(Note that even if you had added the ubuntu-hams PPA to your Karmic
system but recently upgraded to Lucid, then you *will* need to add the
PPA again as PPA's get disabled by the upgrade).
