Re: Packet Radio Terminal Software?

I used minicom for that purpose obout 15 years ago and it did the job. You might also check out <http://radio.linux.org.au> which has a large listing of ham applications (some of the entries are a bit stale, however).

when you say "Packet Terminal app" are you looking for something to do kiss mode stuff with, or just interact with the TNC?

Minicom should do the trick if you just want to use the TNC command like in host mode.

Hey Guy's,
I've been using Ubuntu 9.10 on the Acer Aspire One ZA3 (The one with the terrible Poulsbo chipset!) on Fldigi, CQRLog and Xastir along with others, but I've not come across a Packet Terminal app.
Does anyone know of one?

Cheers for any information....
