Re: [VHF] Xubuntu/WSJT question

Hi Ed,

More details would be helpful. I appear to be having the same problem here on a 64bit Ubuntu 12.04LTS install. When I run WSJT from the shell the output from the terminal is:

WSJT Version 5.9.7 r383 , by K1JT

I have forwarded this on to the ubuntu-hams list. Membership in the list is open but only members can post. You might want to join.

Used the Synaptic Package manager to download a WSJT version.

That seemed to go ok...
But when I try to run WSJT it flashes on the screen for maybe 1/4 second.
then nothing.

So what obvious thing have I not done yet?

And, is there a better place to ask these Xumbuntu/Ham/vhf/WSJT questions?

Thanks,
