Re: Please delete or upgrade chirp packages in ppa:ubuntu-hams-updates/ppa

I am also using a uv5r and confirm that the daily snapshot of Chirp from
their PPA works fine with my radio. The latest version of Chirp also gives
a warning stating that there are problems with the inconsistencies between
the firmwares that come installed on different releases of the UV-5r.

Perhaps if it would be too much hassle to pull Chirp from the PPA, we could
at least add a warning in the wiki with a link to the Chirp snapshot PPA.
It would be quick and easy to add at least a warning/suggestion/link to
keep someone else from running into the problem Darkus had.

With the frequency (haha no pun intended) at which China is pumping out
some really great radios at great prices, it will definitely be essential
to always use the latest snapshot of Chirp.

I can do the wiki updates if that's what the group wants. Let me know.
