I was able to get the repeaters set up very easily using Chirp to
download and install the local repeaters directly from
repeaterdirectory.com <http://repeaterdirectory.com>. Super cool :)

link on the left side of the page. Look for 2 meter repeaters
in Sacramento and Tahoe. That would be a good place to start.
Also http://www.arrl.org/find-a-club to locate a club in your
