Aloha, Hawai'i LoCo Team

Thanks to Scott Belford for allowing to be an admin on the team.
Our IRC channel is #ubuntu-us-hi, I don't know who registered it but i will try to gain ownership of it so that I can keep it up to-date.

I will be getting a LUG going on the Big Island, with weekly meetings in Waimea (as Waimea makes a good central point for the Island). Its seems that most of the LoCo members are on Oahu, so I would really in courage someone to start or-revamp one there.
We should try to keep it to one LUG per island (not that we have a problem with that yet).

What a LUG can do:

Report Bugs/Fix Bugs
Work on translations (I will hopefully be starting a launchpad team shortly for Hawaiian translations)
Provide support for Ubuntu users at weekly meetings
Advocate Ubuntu through events or handouts (If we can eventually get our LoCo team approved, we could get free shipments of CDs) 
.....and alot more of course just giving some ideas.
