שלום לכולם,

חברנו ברחבי הגלובוס החלו בהכנות לקראת מסיבות יציאת אובונטו 13.04. זה יוצא
בעוד כשלושה שבועות. יש רעיונות? הצעות?

בגרסה החדשה יש שיפורים מבחינת שימוש בזכרון, בעיקר בגלל אופטימיזציה עבור
מכשירים ניידים וקטנים ונחמדים, אבל גם משתמשי דסקטופ יהנו מזה. לגבי המחלוקת
עבור חיפושים בדאש ויאהו, ישנה עמימות ברשת כמו עמימות ישראל בנושא הגרעין
(איכס יצאתי שמאלני, לא שיש לי בעיה עם שמאלנים, אבל סילחו לי). לפי מה
שהבנתי, תהיה אפשרות מובנית במערכת לבטל שליחת נתונים של חיפוש בדאש לאינטרנט.
אנא חסכו לי את מלחמת המיילים על כמה זה רע או טוב ופתחו מייל דיון אחר.
המיילים הללו הם עבור מסיבת השחרור.

חזרה למסיבה, יש לי מספר רעיונות על הפרק:

   1. הכנה ו/או הצגת דוגמה למצגת עבור הסברה ועידוד שימוש בקוד-פתוח ותוכנה
   חופשית. קהל היעד: תלמידים ועסקים מתחילים. את המצגת נוכל אחרי כן להציג
   במקומות הרלוונטים ולשתף עם קבוצות לינוקס אחרות (לא תהיה רק על אובונטו)
   2. פיצות, אוכל, עוגה

 Aloha

It's coming closer to to that time of the cycle again where we plan our
release parties in our LoCos.  I've created the global event on the LTP -
http://loco.ubuntu.com/events/global/2322/  and it would be great to see
all the many teams adding their events there like we have in the past.
I've set the date for a month after the event as we often get requests to
keep it open so teams who want to have a release party at a later stage can
still do so which is great :)

It would be great to hear what teams plan on doing or what has worked best
for them in the past, do you run an Ubuntu Quiz at your event, have pizzas,
give talks or demos have install fests going on, or just get together and
have some fun and chat with your fellow team members.  Share what you do
with us!
