Andre, it isn't necessarily a problem with translation. When I say
"pt_BR" locale, I mean the actual /usr/share/i18n/locales/pt_BR (look at
LC_MESSAGES section). However, if that is correct, it's probably an
issue with how the question is asked in update-manager (i.e. it's not
really using appropriate APIs that make use of this locale-provided
information), or with how that API in glibc is implemented.
