It's used with capital letters (Open Source) in the following sections

It's lowercase (open source or Open source in the case of a new sentence) in the following sections
Prologue page 8
Chapter 4, Hardware, page 101
Chapter 4, Hardware, page 102
Chapter 8, Troubleshooting, page 137
Chapter 9, Learning More, page 141
It has a hyphen open-source in the following sections
Chapter 5, Software Management, page 114 (check the sidebar too)
