Status in Ubuntu Manual: Fix Released
Bug description:
Revision number: Revision date: -- :: -
Chapter and page number: 5, page 118
Type: factual error
Margin note on page 118:
"Every months, Ubuntu releases a new version of the operating system."
For me it sounds strange that Ubuntu is releasing something. For me Ubuntu is released by someone - namely Canonical. I would suggest: "Every 6 months, Canonical releases a new version of the Ubuntu operating system."
The same applies analogously to the third sentence:
"Every four normal releases—or months—Ubuntu releases a Long Term Support (LTS) release."
My suggestion:
"Every four normal releases—or months—Canonical releases a Long Term Support (LTS) Ubuntu release."
