Bug description:
A few changes to the Update Manager in Maverick.

 - Package descriptions are now shown more prominently (before it was the package name that was given focus, which can be confusing).
 - There’s a new progress bar that tells you what Update Manager is doing.
 - And the “checking for updates” dialog box has had a bit of a visual overhaul to make it nicer.
