The script should create the ~/.fonts directory if it doesn't already
exist.

I don't think the script has changed much (if at all) between trusty and
saucy.

  TexLive 2014

  I got hit by this one just after removing my ubuntu-installed texlive,
  emptying my texmf, installing texlive 2014, and running the god's gift
  pkgs/install-pkgs.sh.

  Found my answer at https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu-
  manual/+question/249726 but it would be great if the script could
  inform me that cc-icons is missing and that I should do as
  https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu-manual/+question/249726 says.
