Correct, we have to remember that we are aimed at absolute beginners.  As
far as I'm concerned there should be zero terminal stuff in the beginning
section.  The manual it self should be just enough information to make the
user happy, but not have to wade through much.

If we make this manual too dense or unfriendly nobody will want to use it.
