Status in Ubuntu Manual: Confirmed
Bug description:
Section 7.1 suggests that using sudo is the same as logging in as root. A beginner may easily confuse them. sudo Is used to execute commands as another user. We probably need better explanation about the concept of a super-user and why it is dangerous to even have a super-user account let alone log into one and why using sudo instead is a better choice. Also, since this is the "Advanced" section of the book, IMHO a little bit more detail would not hurt.
