Alpha is getting close, and we're getting behind.

Hi everyone,

Our alpha release is just around the corner. It's exactly *three* *weeks* away.
We *must *have all the main content in place for this release, otherwise we
will be dis-organized and drastically behind schedule, which is NOT what we
want.

We are in a bit of trouble with three chapters. Chapter 1, which I am
writing, is currently still only half finished - but, that's my problem and
I am going to take care of it very soon.

Chapter 2 is also in trouble. It's missing a lot of content and needs a lot
of work. Alistair Munro, please start writing some more stuff!

Chapter 4 is in the biggest trouble. It's a VERY VERY important chapter,
"Preferences and Hardware" and currently it is *EMPTY.* The person assigned
to this chapter, Deon Spengler, has apparently vanished off the face of the
planet and we desperately need someone else to take over this chapter to get
it finished.

Chapters 1 - 5 are the most important in our manual, and they take the
highest priority. We need to get them finished asap and if need be, we will
all have to pitch in. There has been a lot of attention and there is a lot
of expectation resting on our shoulders, we can't let everyone down with
this, guys.
