Hi Wolter,

[I usually try not to comment on other's work] Since we are doing this
as a team , A few things i wanted to mention:
- The image seems to be a compromise rather a coherent design.
Strapping on more elements to an existing design really doesnt make it
better. The door and the lynx are not really working as a single unit
there. The room has depth but why/where does the lynx fit in there?
Notice the lighting for the room , the light seem to be from the other
side. And its supposed to be darker towards us. Now how does the lynx
get lighting on the top? 

- "Getting started" could be bigger.

- I'm not really sure of the color shading done on the words "10.04"

- The top shadow from the door needs to project even higher.

- Ubuntu running over the lynx's face spoils the good sketch you have
done

There are few problem we need to look out for.

- I have mentioned this several times earlier but to mention it again ;)
I think we can _move away_ from the lynx being used on the cover. Or
atleast the current one we have.  
--Since it is only half the face , it has to be in one corner and it
messes up the alignment and other elements need to fit accordingly.
--For this release we have a great looking lynx , what do we do for the
next release? what if the release is named "Mongoose" ? Are we assured
that we can keep doing a great looking animal for every release? Who is
going to take responsibility for that?

- Cover for translations. How are we going to address that?
I think what we can try is , to use the manual name as translatable text
strings and use center alignment[we have to figure this out properly].
Otherwise we need to keep redoing the cover for *every* language.

I would hope we dont get stuck on the lynx and rethink the design fresh.
