Re: Anyone using a modem, or with access to a modem? Need your help with chapter 3.

just configure your modem using the following command in terminal:

sudo ppoeconf

1. give your ip info, dns and gateways clearly and carefully.
2. give your user name and password for log in.
3. restart your machine. after this restart you will be connected at the
time of login every time.
