Writing freeze details (important for translators)
Hi everyone,
The writing freeze and beta release of our manual will be on the 31st March,
at exactly 0000 UTC (ie, midnight on the 31st). We are going to be really
strict on this writing freeze, so after the writing freeze all commits to
bzr should only be Kevin working on LaTeX or Daker working on the website. I
don't want anyone changing anything after the writing freeze, we need the
translations to catch up and to not be disturbed.
Translators, this is where you come in - after 0000 UTC on the 31st you have
exactly 21 days until our Release Candidate to translate the manual into
your language. That's only three weeks, it'll be a challenge but I reckon we
can do it.
As for Quickshot, I'll be announcing more details about that in another
email over the next couple of days. Keep up the good work everyone!
