Hello, all.

I was just asked in #ubuntu-manual how many printed copies of the
manual have been sold.  So I thought I'd post a few statistics.

Number of printed copies of the manual sold: 93
Number of copies of the manual downloaded from lulu.com: 282

Number of copies of the on-screen version downloaded from
ubuntu-manual.org: 101,232
Number of copies of the print-ready version downloaded from
ubuntu-manual.org: 6,214

The manual has also be mirrored and uploaded at a number of other
sites. Unfortunately, I can't account for those downloads.

When you visit our site with a non-English web browser and try to
download the manual, you'll be given the opportunity to subscribe to
an email notification when we release your language.  Here's a listing
of the number of subscribers for each language.  Note that some
languages appear in the list multiple times under different spellings.
 We changed the language names midway through, I think.  (Apologies
for the lousy table formatting; I'm feeling lazy tonight and just
pasted what MySQL returned.)

Our website averages about 1,000 visits a day with each visit
consisting of an average of 2 page views.  (Likely the home page and
the download page.)
