The explanation on http://ubuntu-manual.org/quickshot did not work for me
because I need to install nvidia drivers which cannot be done when you work
from the live CD, and the stripped Live CD is meant for Ubuntu 10.04
(Maverick Meerkat).
I agree that there should be a screenshot person/team that is in
charge of collecting all the screenshots, ensuring they're correct and
taken at the proper resolution. Originally, Quickshot was written to
facilitate this. Unfortunately, since then, our Quickshot developers
have disappeared and no one has picked it back up again.
This is important, indeed, especially for the coming LTS version Precise. Perhaps we can ask the people who developed Quickshot (Jennings?, ?) to pass their knowledge to others who want to take over the job.
I noticed that the docs team recently started looking into taking
localized screenshots, too. I think it'd be useful for both teams if
some developers worked on Quickshot and got it running again.

Yes, I sent a reply to the Ubuntu-translators list saying that we were already doing this at the Ubuntu Manual.
