Open the um-german.clo file in a text editor and add the following
line to the bottom of the file. Then rebuild the PDF and see if that
fixes the problem.
\renewcommand{\window}[1]{\enquote{#1}}
If that doesn't fix the problem, please let me know. Thanks!
