Hi, Eric.

Here's an old email where I explained the idea behind those commands and
how thtey were to be used:

At the moment, the commands don't actually do anything. But I have a script
around somewhere that would check the commands and make a list of sections
that still needed to be updated and would list all the contributors so we
could ensure we didn't leave anyone out of the credits listing at the back
of the manual.
