Yes, there are designs and plans, and the blueprints for some of what
you asked about are here:

I'm still needing to talk to the designers about some of the specifics
of the other features planned. There are plans for a music player. The
media player is the video player, we're just calling in the media
player for now. I'll be capturing some specifics of a separate music
player in the near future into a blueprint. Once I get a bit more
organized in the next fews days, I will definitely post info to this
list and get some more active discussion and participation in things.
