The information about 1.0 seems a bit scattered. I think it makes sense to list "1.0" in the possible formats. 

Also, rather than saying that 1.0 is the default if the file is missing in the top paragraph, I think it makes sense to just put all the information about "1.0" being the default (and lintian warning) in the paragraph below the list.
