It seems to FTBFS now because of problems with the python3 build
infrastructure. One possibility would be to just disable the sphinx
build for python3.

In any case I think this is getting less important with an LTS just
about to be released. Maybe we better move on and fix some bugs in the
actual docs instead. :-)

  the new packaging guide (requiring sphinx 1.1) FTBFS on maverick and
  lucid (LTS).

  I spent some time fixing this, but am currently stuck. It seems like
  the backported libjs-underscore is empty, which makes the backport of
  sphinx fail.
