[Bug 1098648] Re: gconf2
ubuntu-packaging-guide is documentation for developers on how to package
software for Ubuntu. I'm not aware of gsettings-data-convert being
mentioned anywhere in the guide. That's why I opened a task for the
package providing that program and marked the task for the guide as
invalid. Why have you reopened it for the package guide? Thanks!
$ which gsettings-data-convert
/usr/bin/gsettings-data-convert
$ dpkg -S /usr/bin/gsettings-data-convert
gconf2: /usr/bin/gsettings-data-convert
** Package changed: ubuntu => gconf2 (Ubuntu)

Bug description:
Ubuntu 12.10 fresh install.
gsettings-data-convert.desktop have useless result.
On terminal: $ gsettings-data-convert --dry-run --verbose
Directory '/usr/share/ubuntu/GConf/gsettings' does not exist, nothing to do
Directory '/usr/share/gnome/GConf/gsettings' does not exist, nothing to do
Directory '/usr/local/share/GConf/gsettings' does not exist, nothing to do
Directory '/usr/share/GConf/gsettings' all uptodate, nothing to do
Result do nothing!
